HOMA, a rental housing venture between Asia Capital Real Estate (ACRE) and NOON Capital (NOON), is developing a portfolio of rental apartment properties and co-living spaces which combine residential and hospitality features across Thailand’s major economic centres. The first two projects are in prime Phuket locations. HOMA Phuket Town (opening 3Q 2021) is a 505-unit rental housing property located in Phuket Town, within walking distance of Bangkok Hospital Phuket, Vachira Hospital and Rajabhat University. HOMA Cherngtalay (opening 3Q 2022) is a 422-unit asset located near Bang Tao beach within walking distance to Boat Avenue, Porto de Phuket and Laguna Phuket Resort.Luca Dotti, HOMA’s Co-Founder said, "HOMA provides a place like home with the ultimate service of a hotel that provides privacy when you need it and community when you want it. Co-living in Thailand meets the needs of an emerging generation and older professionals who increasingly are working remotely. What sets us apart is we also cater to families."Dotti went on to add, “We are committed to Thailand and Asia Pacific for the long term. That reflects our confidence in the country and its ability to bounce back as the Thai economic recovery continues to gain momentum.”Blake Olafson, Founder & Managing Partner at ACRE and co-founder of HOMA added, “After investing in more than 20,000 apartments in the United States over the past eight years, we also see a trend developing in Southeast Asia that is making rental property more appealing to young professionals and young families.”Both Phuket properties will offer an attractive combination of affordability, lease flexibility along with great common area facilities and social areas. HOMA designed both Phuket apartments to serve not only young working professionals, leisure and business travellers, digital nomads, and expatriates, but also young families, who are looking for Phuket holiday rentals or long-term professionally managed rental accommodation.
HOMA is pioneering the evolution of co-living to co-living 2.0. Responding to the changing demands created by COVID-19, HOMA is transforming its concept of co-living towards inclusivity that still fosters community but also emphasizes distancing and privacy.HOMA prides itself on focusing on its residents who create the community and strives to cultivate an environment where members can connect, support one another, and live a purposeful life.A high level of architectural design, craftsmanship and attention to detail, in both finishing and furnishings, are other hallmarks of the HOMA experience. At HOMA, properties are designed and managed to make tenants feel at home, creating a place they can call their own, even on the first visit. All studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments are self-contained with private kitchens and en-suite bathrooms. There are also community dining areas along with a fully serviced café, providing guests the ultimate versatility for their individual lifestyles and needs. Other facilities and amenities at the projects include childcare services, co-working spaces, swimming pools and fitness centres.HOMA puts the power in its guest’s hands, with the HOMA app. Residents and guests can interact with each other via their smartphones, or interface with property management for a variety of services including room bookings, payments, maintenance, housekeeping, as well as community events.HOMA is also proud to be at the forefront of sustainability. HOMA Phuket Town will be the first purpose-built residential rental project in Thailand to be LEED Certified 1 and all subsequent HOMA projects will pursue the same recognition.HOMA is part of a joint venture between Asia Capital Real Estate (ACRE) and NOON Capital (NOON) created in 2018. The company is pioneering the long-term Thai residential rental market, shifting the focus from buyer to tenant. In the next five years, ACRE and NOON aim to invest over USD 250 million for the development of six HOMA projects across Thailand. HOMA also plans to introduce the brand to other major markets across the Asia Pacific region.Images of the properties can be downloaded hereMore information about HOMA is available at https://homa.co/ and their social media platforms:FB: https://www.facebook.com/helloHOMA/IG: https://www.instagram.com/hello.homa/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/hellohoma/
